As the Chairperson of the Better Life Program for the African Rural Woman, Aisha carries forward the remarkable legacy of her mother, who was the program’s Founder and first Chairperson. Under her leadership, the Better Life Program has continued to make significant strides in improving the lives of rural women by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to uplift their families and communities.
In addition to her work with the Better Life Program, Aisha Babangida is the founder of the Tasnim Foundation, a charity organization dedicated to advancing girl-child education in rural areas of Nigeria. Through the Tasnim Foundation, Aisha has been instrumental in providing scholarships to young girls, ensuring they have access to quality education and the skills necessary to thrive in the future.
Her Excellency, Hajia Aisha Babangida’s educational background is as impressive as her philanthropic achievements. She has pursued studies at prestigious institutions such as the Wharton Business School, INSEAD, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, Cambridge Judge Business School, and Webster University Geneva, Switzerland.
